poem

I saw an iguana swimming in the river
I saw six caymen
I saw fireflies lighting up the riverbank
I saw brotherly love
I saw sisterhood bonding
I saw miracles happen
I saw worship from the heart
I saw team-mates face their fears
I saw God glorified

I heard praises sung
I heard prayer in three different languages
I heard the sound of mud
I heard satan rebuked
I heard heartfelt thanks
I heard love spoken
I heard my family's voice 2000 miles away
I heard the sounds of the jungle come alive
I heard the Mighty come softly
I heard Scripture

I spoke the Truth
I practiced Patience
I felt Love
I trusted Christ

My life is to experience God with all my senses. I want to see Him, feel Him, hear Him, taste Him, speak Him and know Him.
God is speaking to my heart, can you hear him speaking to yours?
Please tell us how God is working in YOUR life.

Jen, that was a fabulous poem. It really touched my heart and painted a beautiful picture of what your time in Nic was like.

Thank you for sharing it.
